DESCRIPTION

Antioxidant action:

Annatto, Soy Isoflavones and Mangosteen have antioxidant properties that help fight free radicals. These radicals can initiate chain reactions that occur in cells, damaging them or causing them to die. Antioxidants interrupt these chain reactions by eliminating intermediate free radicals and inhibiting other oxidation reactions, offering protection to the body against chronic diseases such as cancer.

Reduce menopausal symptoms:

Menopause is characterized by the drop in the hormones estrogen and progesterone that occurs between 45 and 55 years of age (average). Soy is a great help in hormonal balance because the structure os isoflavones is similar to that of estrogen.

The consumption of soy isoflavones reduces the intensity and frequency of hot flashes and insomnia.

Improves mood:

Vida Woman contains ingredients that help to normalize the nervous system and prevent states such as depression by improving mood so that you can have a happy and peaceful life.

Purified water

Purified water is drinking water treated by reverse osmosis (transformation of salt or saline water into drinking water) or distillation, without minerals in its composition. Because it is filtered and potable water, it is free of undesirable substances such as parasites, chlorine, fluoride or dioxins. The benefits of its consumption are help in bowel regulation, skin rejuvenation, hydration of nails and hair and reduction of hypertension along with improvement of blood circulation.

Achiote

Achiote is a fruit known in Portugal as saffron and paprika (powdered condiment). It contains several plant compounds with antioxidant properties that help neutralize free radicals and thus protect the body against the development of chronic diseases.

It has antimicrobial properties so it helps to inhibit the growth of bacteria. It’s good for the heart because it’s a good source of compounds in the vitamin E family, and for the eyes because it’s rich in carotenoids (substances that help promote eye health), and can also reduce inflammation.

Soy isofavones

Soy isoflavones function as antioxidants at the level of the cell membranes, helping to decrease the intensity of symptoms characteristic of menopause and post-menopause.

The arrival of menopause results in two primary phenomena that happen in the woman’s body: it stops the production of eggs in the ovaries and the synthesis of estrogens falls. These two phenomena impair various functions and cause the organism to be impaired. Soy isoflavones help promote cardiovascular health, improve cognitive functioning of the nervous system decrease the risk of cancer, and increase the antioxidant capacity of the human body, thus trying to decrease the consequences of menopause for the body.

Mangosteen

The mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is a reddish-brown tropical fruit from the rainforests of Southwest Asia also known as the “queen of fruits” for being one of the most antioxidant-rich foods and for its enormous capacity to absorb free radicals (30 times greater than most fruits and vegetables).

It has three main parts: the hard skin, the edible pulp (mild fragrance and sweet flavor) and the seeds (bitter and inedible). The round fruit, with thick purple skin and slightly sweet flavor, is rich in vitamins A, B12, C and E, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, sodium and zinc. This fruit, unknown until recently, is now highly sought after to combat low immunity and contribute to the maintenance of health.

Maca

Maca is a tuber well known for its power to increase libido and fertility. Its main use in this supplement is to decrease menopausal symptoms. Maca stretches hormone levels and inhibits demineralization by interfering with bone metabolism.

In addition to the great benefit for menopause, it controls diabetes (decreases the absorption of glucose in the body), helps to lose weight (provides complex fibers and carbohydrates),helps prevent cancer (fight free radicals), improves mood and protects the heart.

Taurine

Taurine is an amino acid abundant throughout the body, but essential for some groups that cannot synthesize it, such as newborns and people recovering from major trauma. It is often added to energy drinks because it increases physical capacity and reduces fatigue.

Taurine acts as an osmolyte to maintain cell volume and fluid balance, which helps prevent some problems. This amino acid helps in the development of the nervous system, has antioxidant and detoxifying actions, strengthens and increases the strength of cardiac contractions and protects heart cells, stabilizes blood cholesterol levels and lowers blood pressure in hypertensive patients.

Folic Acid

Folic acid, often referred to as vitamin B9, is involved in various functions in our body, mainly in the formation of DNA and the genetic content of cells. Folic acid has very important benefits for our body such as maintaining brain health, preventing anemia, cardiovascular diseases and some types of cancer. This vitamin is very important for maintaining the health of the brain, the vascular system and the immune system.

Glucuronolactone

Glucuronotactone is a carbohydrate that is formed in the liver from glucose, also present in some food and plants. It’s normally used in energy drinks to combat fatigue and tiredness. Its benefits are improved performance, detoxifying effect and help to preserve joints.

Hill

Choline is one of the B vitamins that is directly related to brain function because it is a chemical substance that is directly involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, which accelerates the production and release of neurotransmitters. All of this results in a better memory and a greater learning capacity. It is a great ally for our brain, but it is also good for the heart, muscles and liver.

This is a nutrient produced in small quantities in our organism, so it is necessary to include it in the diet so that it is not lacking. The main source of food is egg yolk.

Ascorbic Acid

Vitamin C is essential for the formation of collagen, which is essential for the normal functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth.

It plays an important role in eliminating free radicals and increasing energy levels. By increasing the absorption of iron in food, it contributes to the prevention of low hemoglobin levels. Iron levels in our body are crucial for energy levels. More iron absorption means more energy, less tiredness and less fatigue.

Vitamin C intake is not directly related to fighting anemia, but increasing the body’s absorption of iron helps, as most cases of anemia are caused by iron deficiency.

When we talk about vitamin C, we cannot forget its importance for the functioning of the nervous system. With its antioxidant action, it prevents brain damage and aging by eliminating free radicals naturally produced by cellular metabolism and the neuronal energy consumption system. Vitamin C can also be an important ally in the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, since it is the production of free radicals that causes neuronal degeneration.

L-Theanine

L-theanine is an amino acid found in green tea. It is often consumed alone because green tea includes a percentage of caffeine that can contribute to anxiety and nervousness.

L-theanine has benefits with calming effects. It induces relaxation, promotes balanced sleep, reduces anxiety and nervousness, reduces stress and restlessness, increases concentration, motivation and cognitive memory, stabilizes mood and promotes well-being.

Avena sativa

Avena sativa (oat) is used as a medicinal medicine to combat stress, physical exhaustion, improve mood and raise testosterone levels naturally. It is also considered a natural anti-inflammatory and excellent for lowering high blood pressure.

Mate grass

Yerba mate is a medicinal plant that contains caffeine, theophylline, theobromine, folic acid, tannins, minerals and vitamins A, B1, C and E, which act as an antioxidant, laxative, stimulant, diuretic and aphrodisiac.

This herb helps to fight LDL (bad cholesterol), increase HDL (good cholesterol), lose weight, satiate hunger, stimulate brain function, decrease glucose, improve blood function, facilitate digestion, cleanse the skin and contribute to improve the cardiovascular and respiratory system.

Zinc sulfate

Used clinically as a dietary supplement, zinc sulfate is used to treat zinc deficiency. It can be found in foods such as beans, nuts, seafood and dairy products. The benefits of zinc are numerous: contributes to normal acid-base metabolism, normal carbohydrate metabolism, normal cognitive function, normal DNA synthesis, normal fertility and reproduction, macronutrient metabolism, fatty acid metabolism, vitamin A metabolism, normal protein synthesis , maintenance of normal bones, hair, nails and skin, maintenance of normal blood testosterone levels, maintenance of normal vision, normal functioning of the immune system, protection of cells against undesirable oxidations and contributes to the process of cell division. Zinc deficiency can cause loss of appetite, weight loss, diarrhea and reduced immune function.

Thiamine

Thiamine, better known as vitamin B1, is one of the water-soluble vitamins of the B complex. Its daily intake is recommended to maintain a balanced diet since our body stores only small amounts of this vitamin.

Thiamine plays an important role in energy metabolism, growth, development and cell function. Contributes to normal energy-producing metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological functioning and normal heart function. It also has a slight diuretic effect.

Pork, ham, oatmeal and eggs are some of the foods in which you can find this vitamin. Signs of vitamin B1 deficiency are lack of appetite, constipation, muscle weakness in the lower extremities, depression and forgetfulness.

Potassium sorbate

Potassium sorbate or potassium salt of sorbic acid works as a food preservative, mild, fungicidal and bactericidal of high efficiency and safety that does not change the taste of food. It’s the salt resulting from the reaction of sober acid and potassium hydroxide, once diluted it releases sorbic acid. Sorbate delay and prevent the development of microorganisms such as bacteria, mold and fungi by reducing water and increasing acidity, and preserve the flavor, color, texture and nutritional value of the foods to which they are added.

Saccharin

Saccharin is an artificial sweetener without calories. It is suitable for diabetics because the body cannot metabolize it and expels it in the urine.

Its main benefit is that saccharin reduces the caloric content in the form of sugar in foods while maintaining the sweet taste. It does not contribute to the formation of cavities or damage enamel because it is not metabolized by oral bacteria.

Melatonin

Naturally produced by our body, melatonin is a hormone with the function of inducing sleep. The substance starts to be produced in the pineal gland as the day gets dark and reaches its maximum level when we are sleeping. At sunrise and with the return of light, the gland reduces the production of melatonin to inform our body that it is time to wake up. Melatonin production varies depending on different factors such as age, exposure to light sources and some medications. Melatonin as a supplement is indicated for elderly people who have the lowest melatonin, people who work at night and need to sleep during the day, people who are blind due to poor light reception, travelers with jet lag problems and for people who can only manage sleep and wake up later.

In addition to the benefits that melatonin brings to sleep, it also helps in the treatment of migraines, helps in preventing some types of cancer and improves the response to chemotherapy.

Scientific studies

Menopause is a natural process that occurs in a woman’s body and causes symptoms that can cause suffering. These symptoms impair your quality of life because they alter the hormonal system and cause discomfort.

Menopause causes a reduction in the production of hormones, specifically estrogen. The lack of this hormone causes night sweats, depression, palpitations, fatigue and loss of libido.

Epidemiological studies show that isoflavone consumption decreases the intensity and frequency of symptoms in women in menopause. The soy-rich diet also helps in the normal functioning of the cardiovascular system, reducing bad cholesterol by about 10%, and increasing good cholesterol.
