DESCRIPTION

DHA is an omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid found in the body. It is an important structural fat for the brain and retina, accounting for 97% of omega-3 fats in the brain and up to 93% of omega-3 fats in the retina. At all stages of life, DHA is proven to be important for brain and eye health.

Lutein is the predominant antioxidant in the eyes, being deposited on the retina and macula, with the main objective of protecting tissues from oxidation by filtering blue light and destroying free radicals Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) causes irreversible destruction of the macula tissue which, when not delayed, inevitably leads to blindness. DMI affects around 30 million people worldwide. The discovery of lutein is one of the great advances in medicine. This naturally occurring caratenoid has a yellow color and is widely distributed (fruits, vegetables, egg yolk and in the human macula). . This pigment has an antioxidant action. Several studies have listed lutein as a preventive agent for both age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. Lutein, in the human eye, acts as a filter of the sun’s rays preventing damage to the retina and the macula. Studies relate the decrease in lutein, due to exposure to UV rays from sunlight, with the occurrence of macular degeneration and cataracts. As the human organism cannot manufacture this pigment, ingestion, through diet, assumes a very important role.

Fish oil

Fish oil has several health benefits: it is good for the heart – omega-3 and fatty acids found in fish oil are known to protect the heart and the arteries and veins that make up the cardiovascular system; helps prevent cancer – has been shown to be effective in combating breast, colon and prostate cancer due to the good fatty acids and omega-3s found in fish; it is good for eye health – high levels of omega-3 and fatty acids offer substantial protection against macular degeneration of the eyes; it is good for the brain and nervous system – it increases intelligence and happiness and improves memory; it is good for bones and connective tissue – the omega-3 present in fish oil helps to regulate and stabilize the balance of collagen and minerals in the bones and surrounding tissue.

Gelatin

Gelatin is a great source of hydration ideal for use in diets. It is a great source of collagen that helps strengthen nails and hair, giving them greater shine, thickness, growth and resistance.

In addition to these benefits, gelatin helps to combat constipation, maintain bones and restore and regenerate joints to delay the natural sagging process of aging.

Glycerin

Glycerin is a liquid and viscous trivalent alcohol with a sweet taste. Through food it is obtained from triglycerides, which can be synthesized by the body as an intermediate product of carbohydrate metabolism and can be manufactured synthetically by fermenting sugars. In athletes, glycerin has an enormous benefit for contributing to hyperhydration. During training, athletes may feel tired and dehydrated. Glycerin helps to combat decreased performance, delay fatigue and helps maintain hydration.

Lutein

Lutein is one of the main carotenoids (responsible for the yellow, orange or red pigmentation of foods) present in different foods. Carotenoids are not synthesized by the human body, so regular intake is essential.

Lutein has an important antioxidant function that protects against premature aging. It is also important for the health and protection of eyes and vision, strengthening of the immune system and protection against the replication of tumor cells.

Beta-carotene

Beta-carotene is a substance responsible for the pigmentation of many fruits and vegetables, also known as carotenoid. When ingested, this nutrient can be converted into vitamin A or function as an antioxidant to help protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. 50% of the vitamin A present in our body comes from the intake of beta-carotene, which is why it is called “provitamin A”, i.e., it is a precursor of vitamin A production in the body.

In addition to the color it brings to some foods, it is also very important for the health of our body, especially the skin, as it is an antioxidant and precursor of vitamin A, which helps to preserve collagen, increasing skin elasticity. Its consumption also brings benefits to bones, vision and immunity of our organism.
